“We need to prepare students for their future, not our past.” ~ Ian Jukes

“All too often we are giving young people cut flowers when we should be teaching them to grow their own plants.” ~ John W. Gardner

The 21st Century learning environment is significantly different from our own personal experiences in the K-12 classroom. Thanks to vast improvements in technology, regardless if you’re teaching adult learners in the corporate setting, or 4th graders, it’s time to understand the requirements for evolving your instructional strategies as a teacher, trainer, or course facilitator.

“Digital media enables us to build more stages for our kids to express themselves.” ~ Marco Torres

In this module, we will also work together to define the digital learner, and take time to reflect on our current skills to identify areas for growth. I’m confident we all strive to continue to make a difference in the lives of our learners!

“We need to replicate in the classroom the world in which students are living.” ~ Author Unknown

“If we teach today the way we were taught yesterday, we aren’t preparing students for today or tomorrow.” ~ Author Unknown
